Most small towns in Kansas have grain elevators and many, like Cambridge, Kansas used to have a rail siding next to the structure. More modern elevators in nearby consolidated locations have replaced the need for these quaint buildings. Even the rail sidings are gone. �2010 Fred Lassmann, All Rights Reserved.
