Artist's Description

"Western Kansas Vista" A view of the high plains of western Kansas near Ford. Foreground: tall grasses and tumbleweed; winter wheat field. The Cottonwood trees border Mulberry Creek and the horizon pastures in the background. Ford elevaton is 2,398 ft compared to Wichita at 1,299 ft. that's 1,100 feet of altitude change, enough that I notice the difference. Edited: Lightroom, PS, Efex Silver. Camera Info: Nikon D700; ISO 200; Aperture f/10; Shutter 1/125 sec. Lens 50mm 1.4. Ref: KS161732D7.
