THE EYES ARE THE WINDOWS TO THE SOUL; or in this case: THE WINDOWS ARE THE EYES TO THE SOUL is emphasized with the setting sun reflected from the windows into the camera lens.
The Old Stone Church which stands as a monument to the spiritual devotion of our forefathers was dedicated in 1882 as a Congregational church. Church services were held until 1905 when a new church was dedicated in nearby Maple Hill, Kansas. A serene resting place for a number of souls surrounds the church.
