Description
"Constitution Hall" Leocompton, KS. "Civil War Birthplace - Where Slavery Began to Die." Built in 1856, this building is the only wooden structure to have survived over time. Located just north-west of Lawrence and east of Topeka this is the center of the pre-civil war activities. I wanted to capture the feeling of the scene by editing to look like a typical photograph from the 1800's. Camera Info: Nikon D700; ISO 200; Aperture f/8; Shutter 1/200 sec. 50 mm with polarizer ND4 filter. Ref: KS172207D7.
