Artist's Description

"Cambridge Log Cabin"

Located 3 miles north of Cambridge, Kansas, this cabin was built in 1872 by Dr. Wilkins and family. An extra room and 2nd floor were added later. A fire in the 1990's destroyed the building. The original cabin was recently reconstructed and is open to the public.

Editing: In order to capture the feel of the original cabin, I chose to use a Lensbaby double glass optic for the blur effect and used Efex for the toning and vignetting.

Camera Info: Camera Nikon D700; ISO 200; Aperture f/11; Shutter 1/13 sec; (handheld); Lens 50mm.

Ref: KS158178D7.
