Fantastic!

Artist's Description

Teterville, an oil boom town built in the 1920s and disappearing in the 1960s is the location of a spectacular view of the Flint Hills. After noticing that the clouds were beginning to get interesting, my wife and I drove to the location, 12 miles east of Cassoday, Kansas.

We were not disappointed as the sun broke through the clouds just before sunset. In addition to the beautiful sunset, the only sound we heard was a pack of coyotes howling. A great way to spend a Sunday evening!
Camera Info: Camera Nikon D200; SO 100; Aperture f/8; Shutter 1/50 sec.
